ABOUT

A simpler way to mount solar with materials contractors already know.

SolFX started with a simple idea: why should solar mounting require an entirely proprietary rail system when contractors already use strut channel every day?

Standard 1-5/8 inch strut is readily available, familiar to electrical contractors, and proven across the construction industry. The challenge was making it work for solar while addressing the bonding, structural, and code requirements that come with a listed mounting system.

That is what SolFX was created to solve.

Founded by solar mounting engineer Ryan Hagen, SolFX grew out of years of hands-on experience developing and testing solar racking systems and working with the codes and standards that govern them. The result is a UL 2703 listed mounting system that combines purpose-built solar hardware with standard strut channel.

We believe good solar mounting should be straightforward to source, easy to understand, and practical to install. By building around materials contractors already know, SolFX gives installers another way to get the job done without being locked into a proprietary rail system.
